Iqra studied at Canterbury Christ Church University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Science. During this time, Iqra worked closely with industry partners at Discovery Park, Sandwich, and investigated the effect of animal venom on pancreatic and colorectal cancer.

Following the successful completion of her degree, Iqra worked as a Junior Editor, swiftly progressing to the role of Science Editor of the global pharmaceutical journals Drug Target Review and European Pharmaceutical Review. Incorporating her passion for science and writing, Iqra ventured towards medical communications and now works as a Medical Writer for the AML Global Portal, also writing for other educational platforms, including the Multiple Myeloma Hub, the Lymphoma Hub, and the GvHD Hub.
